Founder & Attorney

Hi, I’m Jomana Abdallah, Esq.

An entrepreneur, business immigration attorney, and the Founder of the Law Offices of Jomana Abdallah, a boutique Bay Area practice with a global client base.

I began my career as an Associate Attorney at Fragomen, the world’s largest and most influential immigration law firm, where I spent several years working across nearly every visa category at a pace and scale typically reserved for senior practitioners. My foundation was sharpened under the mentorship of Carl Shusterman, one of the most iconic pioneers in U.S. immigration law.

With experience across Fragomen, Alcorn Immigration Law and legaltech startups in Silicon Valley, I am known for my novel “holistic lawyering” method. My age makes me rise especially notable. While many attorneys in my class year are still climbing associate ladders, I have already launched and scaled my own private practice, trusted by clients who want clarity, speed, and strategy delivered with confidence.

The Daughter of Immigrant Entrepreneurs

In the mid-1980s, my mother came to America from Mexico, and my father, a Palestinian refugee, arrived from Amman, Jordan. They met and fell in love in Los Angeles, united by a shared belief that opportunity is something you create through vision and persistence. From a single produce store (pictured here), they created a lasting legacy of successful markets and wholesale distribution ventures that shaped communities across Southern California. I grew up in these grocery stores and know what it means to build from the ground up, late nights, to take risks, and to turn hard work into lasting impact.

That experience shaped everything I do. I understand founders because I come from them. The drive to create, to build, and to keep going when it gets hard is part of who I am. At my firm, I bring that same energy to every client I serve, helping founders, creators, and innovators navigate immigration as they build the next generation of companies, ideas, and legacies.

A Note From Me

Every case I take on is more than paperwork, it’s a life story in motion. I see the courage it takes to start new, to build something meaningful far from what’s familiar. That’s why I approach each client’s path with the same care and dedication I’d want for my own family.

Personalized Approach

Every case tells a different story. That’s why I take time to understand each client’s background, aspirations, and challenges before crafting a strategy that fits their needs. There’s no one-size-fits-all in this work, just thoughtful, tailored guidance for every unique journey.

More Than Counsel

Immigration doesn’t end when the application is approved. It continues through career growth, family milestones, and new opportunities.

My clients return not just because of successful outcomes, but because they know they have an advocate who understands their journey and stays committed for the long term.

This is not a large firm built on volume. It’s a boutique practice built on relationships, where every client is seen, heard, and guided with intention.

How I Work

Open manila file folder with labeled tabs, surrounded by postcards, a magazine page, notebooks, a pen, a mug of coffee, and a hand in a knitted sweater.
  • We begin with a detailed conversation about your goals, background, and current status. This helps me understand your needs and identify the most effective immigration pathways.

  • I analyze your eligibility and develop a custom legal strategy, outlining timelines, documentation, and options tailored to your objectives, whether that’s securing a visa, building a company, or obtaining permanent residency.

  • Once the plan is in place, I guide you through gathering the right evidence, drafting letters, and preparing complete filings. My approach prioritizes accuracy, narrative strength, and compliance with the latest USCIS and consular standards.

  • You’ll receive clear updates throughout the process. I make sure you always know what’s happening, what’s next, and what to expect at each stage.

  • My work doesn’t end once a petition is filed or approved. Many clients return for follow-up filings, renewals, or new ventures, and I remain available as a long-term partner in your immigration journey.
